About the Artist
The name Lantern Print Co., and more specifically, the lantern symbol— was selected to represent my desire to create art that is full of beauty, hope, mystery, and adventure. A reminder that light shines in the darkest of places.
I’m Lindsay Hook, the artist behind Lantern Print Co. where I offer my products and illustrations inspired by nature, folklore, and cozy magic. I work as a freelance designer and illustrator from my home studio in Northern California with my husband, kids, and two dogs.
I decided to pursue this business because I wanted to create art that connects us to the magic of our natural world and infuses some much needed whimsy into our everyday lives.
Also as a neurodivergent artist, I believe in inclusivity, diverse representation, and creating a safe space for everyone. My goal is to keep these in mind as I create art and continue to build my business.
